This release marks the completion of our initial app development phase, bringing Toni’s core functionality to life. We’ve established the foundational workflows that drive Toni’s interactions, refined prompts for clarity, and added key features to empower users in managing healthcare finances. Users can now gain clear insights into their insurance coverage, get help understanding medical bills, and access expert financial advice through free, 1:1 chat sessions with a financial coach. This foundation sets the stage for ongoing improvements and expanded features in future releases.

1. Real-Time Eligibility Checks
   • Toni now performs live eligibility checks via PVerify, offering users up-to-date information on their insurance coverage and status.
2. Bill Upload and Inquiry Support
   • Users can upload medical bills directly in the app and ask Toni questions about the charges and basic terms.
3. Escalation to Financial Coaches
   • Toni can seamlessly escalate conversations to a financial coach if a user requests it, if a struggle is detected, or if Toni encounters a question outside scope.
4. User Notifications for Coach Availability
   • Users receive welcome emails upon joining, plus notifications when a financial coach is available on their chat.
